I look over the ledge and the wind shifts so my long strawberry-blonde hair blows in my face and I see this gorgeous guy standing there by a, get this, a Lamborghini! It's light grey with metallic blue strips on the hood! It's beautiful. He seems to see something and start to look up, but I duck behind the wall so he can't see me. I sigh in relief but right after that, I look up and there he is, next to the busted down door of the roof. I look at him horrified, to be honest I'm scared out of my wits. I've never been in this kind of situation before. I stare at him as he looks me up and down, then decides to speak, when he does his voice is deep and unemotional.

Bang! I sat bolt upright. Did I imagine that? That noise? What was it? I clambered out of bed and almost fell down the stairs with the panic that had set in. My front door was wide open but nobody was there, the wood was just swinging in the doorway allowing the cool breeze in my house. What if somebody was already inside? I hopped over the living room sofa, to climb the stairs yet again and as I made it to the landing I was thrown into the wall. My body pinned against it with a muscled form shadowing mine. His husky voice was a distinct reminder that he was my mate. The tingles that spread through my body made me hate but love the entire situation. I want him closer. "You don't run away from me, understand?" I nodded, he was really close to me and my wolf purred for him to be closer. I pushed the thoughts to the back of my mind as he slowly removed his hand. "What do you want?" I demanded, making the futile attempt to shove him away though he didn't move an inch. "I want what is mine." He replied with a low growl that sent chills up my spine. My back was still pressed firmly against the wall and I think I was in shock to move. Though I felt safe which made me feel sick, how could I be safe in the presence of him?
