Clay has autism and finds comfort in simple things, the illuminated a fireplace on a winter's night, fish swimming and stuffed animals. However, this was all soon to change after a tragic accident. Clay finds himself alone, seeing his happiness slip away from one simple mistake. George doesn't have an easy home life, after noticing signs of possibly a muscle disease, his only wish is to get help for it, however his parents deny every word that is brought up about it. Yet, it gets worse by the day as George quickly looses any hope left. When Clay is left traumatised by his past, he thinks nothing will bring back the same happiness he once felt, but when George moves into the farm he often visits, that same joy that was extinguished with the fire, sparks again... Fear consumed me, causing me to keep my eyes shut tight the entire time. He angrily punched the wall beside my head, finally releasing his grip on my hair and storming out of my room. If only things could be different. Enza was a quiet girl who faced challenges she had no control over. She had mild autism and although she excelled in school, she had moments where she would break down. Living with her family - her mom, dad, and two older siblings - Enza was treated the worst despite being the youngest. Her dad despised her for being different and treated her horribly. The only source of love in the house came from her mom. But there was someone else who truly cared for Enza - her best friend Jace. Jace was always there for her, supporting her through it all. she was a popular basketball player at their school, yet she never let that stop her from being by Enza's side.

A true story about how I overcome sexual assault, domestic violence, drug addiction and more. This story shows the harsh reality of getting into horrific situations as an adult with a hidden disability. The world is a cruel place and when someone speaks out nobody usually listens, so I wrote my experiences down in hopes that I can help anybody avoid the situations I have been involved in. Every life is precious and nobody deserves to have experienced the things I've been through so please read this short story, please think your decisions through and look out for others. Caspian Elwood, a successful actor with a thriving career and a loving family, thought he had his life figured out. Married to his wife Lauren for twelve years, they've built a beautiful home with their two children, Finn, 14, and Eden, 8. But when a late-night call from a social worker shakes the foundation of his world, Caspian is faced with a devastating truth: his son Bailey, the one he's been supporting from a distance, has been neglected, possibly for years. Because maybe this time, someone came back. Will this make or break the family, or will this be the piece they were missing?
