Nico is bored. Being immortal means things get boring quickly, especially when you have been living with a bunch of other immortal warlocks your whole life. Nico often complains of this to his other "family" but nothing really changes. One day, His family have had enough of his whining, and decide to make things more interesting, by daring Nico to attend a human school for a year. At first reluctant, Nico eventually agrees to this. It's not like this will change a thing anyway .... will it?
Taken inspiration from: The mortal instruments, black magic and Chinese Buddhism.
I don't own any of the characters, they all belong to Rick Rioden.
I do own the picture on the cover.(which is why its so crazily drawn)

Everyone Deserves to be Happy (Solangelo)
Percy finds out about Nico's crush earlier than planned. And it's on neither of their terms. Until Percy gives him some good advice. Advice Nico takes to heart. But a demigod's life is never easy, and with a new prophecy and a new quest even darker forces are looming over the horizon, threatening to destroy the sunshine that Nico and another half-blood we all thought was gone have finally found. Placed during very beginning of Blood of Olympus/ between House of Hades and Blood of Olympus at the beginning. Then it switches to the end of Blood of Olympus. This is a solangelo story line. If you have not read Blood of Olympus, or do not ship solangelo, then I kindly ask you to reconsider your life choices. And then go do those things. I tried to stay true to the characters, I really truly did. If you're reading and you think I did something wrong, please let me know (but. you know. kindly.). This is also still a first draft, so you know, it's not perfect. All rights go to Rick Riordan the troll who stoll (geddit?) my life. How Icarus Fell From the Sun (a Solangelo fanfic)
Nico felt like Icarus. Fly too close to the sun, and your wings will melt. Fly too close to the sea, your wings will grow heavy. Nico had already flown too close to the sea. He had allowed his infatuation with Percy to rule his life, his decisions, for far to many years. His wings had grown heavy, and he'd drowned. Icarus had made a mistake. He strayed too far, entranced by the kindness of the light. The dark wouldn't be as welcoming, ushering you in with no hesitancy and crossed arms. That didn't work out so well for Icarus. So, Nico would allow this filter, this light, to cover him, shroud him in kindness, and possibility, and warmth. But he would not cross further. He would not succumb to the light only to fall forever into darkness. He would do what Icarus couldn't. Nico di Angelo would not fly too close to the sun. Cover art by viria!Complete
