Start to Begin (Lams Fanfiction)
What if you fell in love with a city? The buildings, the noise, the talent, the transportation. The People. More specifically, one person. Alexander Hamilton is an 18 year old looking for a fresh start, away from the storm that was his past. John Laurens is a 19 year old, searching for a reason to smile. Little did they know that on that Saturday morning, on the 1 Train, they would both meet the person who would give them everything. "Benefits" [Under Editing]
John Laurens was known in college for one thing and one thing only: He was the biggest fuck boy ever. Which was perhaps a hyperbole, but the title still stood. What most people didn't know is that behind the charming smiles and weekly hookups, John Laurens was just a desperate gay guy in search for a cute that didn't sleep. He convinced himself that if he slept with enough girls, he would start liking them eventually, but it doesn't work that way. Everything just gets even more complicated when he gets a cute roommate by the name of Alexander Hamilton, roommate who he can't resist from the second he lays eyes on him. <<COMPLETE/UNDER EDITING>>Complete

My Dear Laurens (Lams)
Alexander knows he loves Laurens. He also knows that he is straight and only has a platonic relationship with Laurens. He does not think about the taste of Laurens' lips, the soft curls of his hair framing his honey-drop freckles, the curve and snap of the muscles under his skin, or the region under his breeches he wouldn't dare say even under the cover of his thoughts. He loves John Laurens, but not like that, ya know? I mean, come on, there's no way he's gay in a time where that could get you killed, where he's a public political figure, where he's a proud American soldier, where he could die any second (thanks to the time period and his mouth), or where he's married to Elizabeth Schuyler. So, shut up, okay. It's not gonna happen. Ever. In conclusion, go to hell. . . . Follows the musical like a timeline. Basically, how I imagine Lams would have been able to occur during the OG time period.Complete
