[Vkook] A Hospital Romance

A new batch of residents just arrived.

Taehyung, being the best neurosurgeon at the biggest hospital in Seoul, has the first pick of which two out of the five candidates he wants. Granted, he was forced into being an instructor.

Now Taehyung isn't your average neurosurgeon. He's 23, and has been in this business since he could walk... Thanks to his abusive neurosurgeon parents, who only wanted the 'best' for him. That being, making the poor boy study day and night about mathematics, neuroscience, anatomy, and history... They even went as far as making the child practice on an actual patient at the innocent age of 12! Graduating university at 14 and completing his internship, residency, AND fellowship before his 18th birthday. It also doesn't help that his eidetic memory pushed his parents into really taking a notice to the boy, it's what literally saved his life. You name it, he knows it.

Jungkook comes from a similar place as Taehyung. No, his parents weren't abusive. Hell, he didn't have a mother, and he had a poor excuse of a father, but his parents are what really made him take an interest to neuroscience. His mother died from grade four glioblastoma when Jungkook was five, and his father is disabled due to a spinal injury. He's 26, and he's a third year resident. All he really wants to do, is help the community and make his father proud of him.... Though all of his father's respect for him vanished when Jungkook told him he was gay.

Now, as Taehyung chooses his two candidates, what could possibly go wrong?
