Xaiden Storm was an average until one night at a party when he was shot in the chest by a drug addict for no apparent reason. When in the hospital, he was treated with an untested drug to accelerate and improve his less than 45% chance of living. Xaiden woke up in a white room with a mysterious woman claiming that he was a survivor, one of the Kinetic, humans who developed less than normal control over the finer elements of time and space. The one catch to all this power, a girl, Aliyah, a fellow Kinetic tells him in secret, his life, thanks to the drug, now has an expiration date, 6 months. Now, many miles from home, can Xaiden stop the company from distributing the drug to other teens, Uncover the reason for its development, and still save his own life before he "expires"?
