When Kira Blackwood's name is reaped, she knows she's screwed. How is she supposed to survive in a fight to death with twenty-three other tributes, all of whom want to get out alive as much as she does? Not to mention, the thought of killing somebody twists her stomach into all sorts of unnatural shapes. Despite secretly training for the Games in the cow pastures surrounding her home, and being pretty handy with a knife, Kira's kind heart may be the thing that holds her back the most. Whenever anything was not right for each of them, then they would go and talk to each other about each of their problems and/or situations. The person who you will meet in Chapter 3 is Jordan who is Riley's ex-boyfriend and Brad's best friend and the person who you will meet in Chapter 5 is Taylor who is Riley's best friend and Brad's ex-girlfriend. While Riley was with Brad, Jordan has been a singer (proof in Chapter 21) and songwriter. In Chapter 16, you will read the lyrics to the song that Riley wrote, but actually Riley's song, "Together Forever" is a song that I wrote. In Chapter 11, Riley has a big decision to make of who she wants to be with: Brad or Jordan. I know that they're not in yet for the first 16 chapters of the story, there will be parentheses around the name to know who is saying what. In Chapter 21, the winning boyfriend of Riley's decision sings a Taylor Swift song (if you're a Taylor Swift fan, you know the song and if you're not, you can find the song on you tube or whatever music website). I will be following the original plot from the book as closely as possible, with some variations of differing scenes or text due to the OC insert. This work will span through the first book in The Hunger Games Trilogy, and I hope to create others in the future that insert Willow into the other two books as well. Also note: there's a last name naming convention for abandoned and orphaned children that is used throughout the districts. Willow's last name is Fairchild because of this.
