It's a rainy day in the southern city of Mamallapuram, India. Dia Demoore is on her way to meet her friend musician, Jean Pouvrier. She finds herself captive, and is shot. She leaves behind a clue, causing a rather unexpected stir in a long-standing friendship. Thousands of miles away, in Paris, Jean reads the newspaper, and is shaken by the news of his friend's death. Little does he know...about himself, or what lies ahead.

Jean's music links him to Ela, an Athenian tour guide, and they undertake a journey with heartwrenching music as a secret unfolds with everyone unaware.
