Here comes the storm of emotions and memories that plague her mind constantly; after years of being neglected and a misunderstanding which caused her marriage to be at the edge of the cliff; one strong gust of wind in a storm and their marriage falls into the sea below, drowning, dying, and impossible to save.
In which Addison recalls her past; the times of her and Derek together, still happy, and when everything comes crashing down, despairs at her present and be despondent about her future. Yet, with a little hope, things might just become different and they might get another shot at forever, together.

The Bolter
The highway all looks the same after a while. Even the words on the signs begin to blend together until she can't read them. Not that she cares. The destination doesn't matter. What matters is that she's getting away, escaping before it's too late. If she learned anything from her parents it's that love doesn't last and it's best to leave before getting left. Meredith leaves Seattle two months into her relationship with Derek, fearing that the other shoe is soon going to drop. Upon arriving in LA, she meets Addison at a bar and for the first time in her life she finds herself not wanting to run when the relationship starts becoming serious. Meredith walked around the park in a daze, the train of her wedding dress dragging behind her in the dirt as her mind swirled with a million different thoughts and emotions. She could not believe that she just did that. She told herself that she was going to marry Derek Shepherd and she had every intention of going through with it, but when it came time for her to say 'I do.', the blonde realized how much she did not want to marry Derek. As she looked around the church at all of their friends, family, and coworkers she realized that instead of feeling happy, she was embarrassed.
