The heels of her boots dig into the ground as she steadies herself, blood thrumming viciously in her ears as her heart races.
If they weren't going to listen, she was sure a hell gonna make them.
Nails digging into her fingerless gloves she feels the butterflies in her stomach come to life as she smirks.
It's when her blood red lips part that she finally sings a tune they're for sure gonna hear well into their sleep.
She may not be the first Canary but she was the first Black Canary and she wasn't going to let anyone for get that.
