Racing. Heart pounding. Swelling tongue. She was scared. Fear.

"Attack!" Yelled the man in power. She hopped at the sudden demand. Her shaking hands fell onto the trigger as she aimed for a redcoat.

It is a kill or be killed world. Especially in this moment. She squeezed her finger onto the trigger harder and felt the reflex of the musket push back. The soldier fell like a limp doll. 

She just killed a man. 

"Dégage Britain," she mumbled, loading the musket once more.
