The Odd One Out

Nyx Rivers changed her identity when she had a chance to run away from her poor and opressed home town, and escape the law in the process. She slowly climbed her way up the social ladder by working hard, keeping her head down and her lips sealed. As she lands a new job, she has to deal with all the cold and ruthless men surrounding her, who have been playing politics far longer than Nyx, while hiding the fact that she's an impostor. If this isn't stressful enough, she gives into her curiosity and accidently finds out her boss' darkest secret. The worst one of them all, Justin Hyles holds a lot of power, but even he doesn't seem to be safe in this twisted world.

When Nyx finds herself holding his fate in her hands, she is torn between her own survival and the desire to help a man who's shown her no kindness.

As Nyx is surrounded by people she can't trust and her past starts coming back to haunt her, she's getting closer and closer to her downfall.
