"By the kings  decree we hereby officially instate the Rift Watch. You all have been trained for your duties, and answer only to the king. The fate of the war depends on our success. There is nothing more important. Let nothing stand in your way."

Strange rifts begin appearing in the land, bringing groups of people from strange lands. The king has formed the rift watch, a group of elite soldiers with skills and abilities unmatched, to find the rifts, study them, learn to control the magic power they contain. And use it to end the war.
