dark, curly hair of the silkiest kind adorned the head of an inquisitive mind. tied atop scalp in a curious manner, knowing the boy was a tedious planner, pen did rush creating scribble after scribble, rubber misshapen from the occasional nibble. a bang of the door gave him quite a fright as no one was to be expected that night. but birthday in mind and a joyous day passed, he thought that his worry was all but miscast. door handle was reached and yanked open wide, a mysterious sight catching hazel brown eye.
stood before him was a figure of green, the slimmest and tallest that he'd ever seen. adorned with a cloak that fell straight to the floor, tobias was sure he had seen this before. somewhere in a dream or a memory long hidden, he was sure that this moment was one that he didn't unknowingly know in the oddest of ways, so he began to think back through his days. an article maybe, in some magazine, something that his mother had left on the scene. maybe the guardian, the sun, or the chronical, not knowing this was his first meeting with mcgonagall.

I force myself to unlock the door and once it swings open, I spend no time watching the look of bafflement on his face.
