❝Who the hell are you?❞ She spits, concealing her pistol in her sleeve, though hidden by the shadows of the alley. The person in front of her smirks, tilting their head up. ❝Simple question with a simple answer; your Guardian Angel. But your 'Angel' has a loaded shotgun, so how 'bout we save the gore and you just come with me peacefully?❞ ----- Faith's life is shattered like delicate china when a plague sweeps around the world, killing above five billion civilians. Fortunately for her, only humans are affected. The plague, however, brings the 'dead' back to life. They're much different then what comics and movies has displayed for everyone-they stand still, as if in a trance until they see their target through milky, decayed glassy eyes. Faith was only just thirteen when the plague hit her hometown. Her birthday, in fact, was the day after it arrived. Now nearing twenty-two with barely any living human contact, she's blown away when a dark, brooding, and handsome man refuses to leave her alone after claiming himself as her 'Guardian Angel' when he saves her.
