Emma has somehow lifted a curtain that was intended to blind her from the reality of this world. She was never supposed to learn that the supernatural have always been here, have always lurked and have, for centuries, been engaged in an invisible war. After her accidental discovery, Emma is thrust into a world of espionage. She has been tasked with spying on the otherworldly rebels by masquerading as an ally. But the more she learns, the less she understands and Emma is ultimately forced to question where her loyalties truly lie: with the rebels seeking a new world order, or the Angels trying to preserve the status quo? The truth can be deceiving and sometimes the only thing we can rely on is our heart.
