A chill runs over my body. I sit up, only to realize I'm not in my bed. I'm in the woods. I stand up and hiss in pain. I touch my thigh and feel warm liquid. With a coppery smell. My heartbeat increases and I start to breathe heavily with anxiety. I stumble blindly, but slowly. I take out my phone to call my mom. My heart sinks when I hear buzzing. I turn toward the sound and see my mom's phone on the ground. I turn on my phone's flashlight and point it towards two dark masses on the ground. My eyes widen and I lose all strength to stand. "This isn't real. It's not," I whisper as I turn the body over. I let out a bloodcurdling scream. All Rights Reserved
