Those who weren't were sent to a corresponding Stronghold and those who were contaminated were never seen again. Luna as her siblings, the three being triplets, now lives in a society that has been forced to forget its history prior to the Strongholds. Six months before their graduation, someone who has been called "Traitor" has kidnapped all the children with special abilities and painted the outer walls of the Stronghold to say "LIVE FREE". Now this time he, or they, wants more children to be saved. Will Luna, Juno, and Atlas agree to escape?
