[VOLUME TWO]

Following their escape from the Kingdom of Uldard, the uneasy duo of the Snow Witch named Chell and the Crow Thief named Noct journey north and seek refuge in Gisnell, a kingdom who, unlike the previous, welcomed those from the Witchfolk without malice nor disadain.

However, the peace they sought would be quick to disappear. It isn't too soon before misfortune begins to stir for the two. A sudden chase ends up with them crossing paths with a talented witch-thief, Jul Orben, and someone none other than the princess of the kingdom herself: her highness and heir to the throne, Yoko Agnis rex Castagne. After finding out about the Snow Witch's true identity, they are offered shelter within the palace walls.

Meanwhile, a dangerous cloud begins to loom over the horizon as the the palace's hidden ugliness begins to poison the kingdom from the inside. When blood is shed and uncertainty strikes the hearts of the people, the witch and the thief find themselves unknowingly dragged into a conflict that they cannot escape.

Bearing the weight of their feeble oath and with no one to trust except for each other, their loyalties are put to the test as a curtain of tragedy begins to rise over Gisnell and a cruel truth of the Snow Witch is put into light.
