[COMPLETE]
Jenna's life came unhemmed the very second her parents told her they were separating. Her friends? Gone. Cast her out the moment she told them she was moving with her mother to some unheard-of town in New Jersey. Her family? Totally destroyed thanks to her dad's philandering ways. And while her mom isn't having any trouble starting over, Jenna can't seem to get back on her feet.
Then, she stumbles across a garage band that changes everything. After befriending the singer and the bassist, brothers who welcome her into their circle without hesitation, Jenna finally feels like she has a reason to be in Belleville. The only problem is that she's already completely smitten with one of her new friends, and she's not sure she should risk losing her biggest supporters to pursue him.
This story is set in the late '90s, around the time Mikey would have actually been a junior in high school, but it borrows aesthetics from the "I'm Not Ok" video. And really, it's just a set of four closely-connected oneshots.
"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."

Y/n wakes up in the deadly Squid Game, surrounded by strangers and fighting to survive. What she doesn't know is that the mysterious Frontman is watching her every move through the cameras- and she's caught his attention.
