Emily Holder is a part time author who, though adventurous, is a withdrawn loner who would rather write and listen to music than gossip or shop like most young women. She spends her days spinning stories of fantasy while secretly wishing she could take place in one of them but one day her wishes come true. Staying out in a secluded cabin she stumbles upon a strange crash site and ends up rescuing a young man from the debris. She later learns that Rahun is a prince from another world. Too soon the government discovers the wreckage and a hunt for aliens begins led by a corrupt FBI captain while a subordinate takes the fates of Emily and her friends into his own hands.
