When the Wind Blows, Melancholia, San Andreas, 2012, The Day After Tomorrow, The Day the Earth Stood Still, they were all movies about the world 'ending' (sort of). That was no reality to how we humans would actually spend our remaining days on this dying planet... The storm was coming south, and none of us were prepared. A group of remote Australian families band together to overcome the persistent rain. Tensions rise as fast as the floodwater levels with drugged up teens, problematic parents and power-hungry politicians. All ideas, characters, plot lines and settings are mine, please do not steal.

They were told to be heroes. But at the end of the day-they're still just kids. When kids all over the world suddenly developed powers, the government saw only profit-and fear. Families were forced to give up their children to brutal testing labs, or face execution for "fostering a threat." Some ran. Now hiding in the wreckage of what was once their home, a group of escaped kids has built their own society: The New House. No adults. No rules-except survive. They train. They fight. They bleed. Because every day, someone breaks the rules. One sneaks off to hear her mother's voice. Another plots betrayal from within. Friendships turn to rivalries. Love turns to loss. Powers spiral out of control. And when they fight-they don't hold back. But underneath the fighting, the power, the chaos... they're just scared kids trying to protect each other from a world that wants them gone. They're building a future without the adults they previously relied on and are instead forced to come together, but some of them would give anything just to go home.
