Ariel Jones (Evoni.j) is a 23 yr. old beautiful and smart young woman who has an extremely low tolerance for bullshit. Since her previous toxic relationship with her ex-boyfriend of two year's, her outlook on love is now nonexistent due to a cold heart.

Even at the age of 25, August is still being haunted by his traumatic New Orleans past, which resulted in his younger brother Antwan (Trill Sammy) turning to a life of alcohol, drugs, and imprisonment.

When the two cross paths, August finds himself captivated by her, and as Ariel finds herself entertaining August, she sees that they have more in common than she originally thought. The two end up falling for one another hard.

But upon Antwan getting released from prison and moving to Brooklyn, August finds himself still trying to keep his volatile brother in check; especially when he takes up with Jarod (600Breezy), ex-boyfriend of Ariel.

With August and Ariel falling madly in love despite the odds against them, August realizes that Ariel's romantic sensitivity has allowed his nightmares to turn into dreams of a better life to leave the drug game for good. But when Antwan gets wind of this, he gets jealous; making it clear that August will have to choose between his blood and his soul-mate.

Will Ariel and August get to live happily ever after leaving all the bad blood behind them, or will August have to end his romance for good by putting his family first?
