Sci-fi prompt for December!

The Tenth Generation of the population guarantee station of SafeGuard,  recruited for under the codename Ajs An'hlj in the old world, is fully trained and making their first foray in to their profession, the mechanical detail of the Heart of Ajs An'hlj, the popular nickname of the first engine to fire when, if, the colony receives conformation to return to the old world.

I'm going to be changing the title and extending the Heart into a full length novel. I'll be taking it down next year.All Rights Reserved

Three years ago, when I was twelve, a group of my fathers friends stole me from home one night and took me to a lab. My father, being a scientist, loves to experiment on people. But not me. He promises he would never hurt me. But his friends didn't. As they snuck me into the lab, they hooked me up to wires and monitored my heart rate. However, a thunderstorm hit the building and shorted out the cables. But not before I was hit. My heart rate went up drastically and they pulled out the wires. I was so angry I lost my temper. Now the police are looking for me. I shocked those men. And I killed them.

Trust is a word that can easily be broken through breath, but survival is a word that can only be broken by death. Nikolas Clover's goal was to keep his family safe as they joined the Advors, a group of humans against the Resinix alien race. However escaping from the Proditors, a group of humans who standby the Resinix, would be anything but easy. They lived in a small town in Colombia called Salento located North just off the edge of the Amazon Rainforest. The Advors remained hidden under the tall rainforest trees while the Resinix and Proditors ruled the rest of the Earth with an iron fist. The Clovers lived in hiding as they waited for their moment to leave the Proditor infested town. However, suspicion would soon arise. Escaping would feel like hell, but the thought of surviving would feel inconceivable. ~I've dedicated a song from YouTube that fits well with each chapter to enhance the reader experience if you choose to play it!
