Being chained to somebody isn't exactly an ideal situation. Especially when the person you're chained to is the one person on the planet who could destroy your entire life. Literally. Yet Light Yagami finds himself stuck in that exact situation.  And not only is he chained to such a person (the great detective, L), but slowly he's finding it more and more difficult to stay distanced from the man. That tends to happen when you get to learn a person's little quirks, he's noticed. So many heated moments are shared between the two, both attracted, both afraid.
