Aisling Bennett sat back and watched her parents die feeling helpless and feeble. She cried for days, wondering why they would ever leave her, why they would break her trust. But she gets tired of crying, of feeling self pity and sadness. So she promises herself that she will never ever give herself a reason to cry and if a reason does show itself, that she won't cry.

She won't be weak.

She moves in with her Mom's sister and family, moving miles away from her real home. Her cousin Cam and his two best friends pester her and tease her but what happens when a simple joke leads to something bigger? What happens when one of Cam's best friends realizes that there's more to the cold, guarded girl than meets the eye? What happens when he decides to break her shell and figure her out? Will he finally be able to rid her heart of this horrible frostbite?
