"Hey!" I hear someone yell. I feel a strong pair of arms yank the Candor girl off of me, and I collapse onto my knees, gasping for breath. The crowd mumbles and disperses back into lines. Someone grabs me around my waist and lifts me up. 

"You okay?" The voice is smooth and melodious. 

I turn around, only to be facing the neck of a Dauntless guy. I take a step back in surprise, and he chuckles. 

"I'm fine." I say, touching my neck gingerly. 

"You know, I didn't know Amities knew how to fight like that." He tells me. 

"I grew up with brothers." I explain, finally looking up at his face and into his bright blue eyes. 

He holds our his hand. "I'm Zeke." 

"Caroline." I shake his hand gently. I notice how large his hand is compared to mine, and the rough texture of the palm. 

"Caroline!" I hear my brother calling me. I can see he's almost at the entrance to the school. The line must be moving. 

"It was nice to meet you, Zeke." I tell him, hurrying off to meet my brother. I can feel my cheeks burning, and I smile to myself. Zeke.All Rights Reserved

Elijah got up off of Luke and looked at me. "What? After all I have done to you?" He asked. He walk towards me. Everyone was looking. "You can add Ash and Luke again to your list of saving me from." I laughed. "Well fuck. By the time I marry you that list will be long." He laughed. "Do I drive you crazy?" I asked. He got closer to me. "Yeah but everyone drives me crazy." "Well don't I drive you a little more crazy?" "Shut up and kiss me." Elijah said. He kissed me more intense then he did before. Everyone was cheering for us.

Tris Pedrad has two brothers. Zeke, who is two years older and Uriah, her twin. Of course they both are the annoying, protective older brother type. Her mom, Hana, is a single parent. She loves all he children but always tells Tris to not listen to her brothers. She wants her daughter to be independent and brave. Her dad, Evan, died when she was little in a train accident. Ever since then Zeke always tries to be the father figure that they don't have anymore. Tris meets Four when she's Fourteen. Zeke brings him over after their introductions were over. Tris remembers him from the Choosing Ceremony. She instantly finds Four attractive, but he backs away from her because of her brothers. When Tris is finally going through initiation, Four is her instructor. It's hard for the both of them to keep the distance they had kept over the past two years.
