I woke up in the morning with a killer hangover. I was on a bed that I've never seen before and I was starting to freak out.
Where the heck am I?!
I was looking around the room but stopped when I saw a boy sleeping right next to me. More specifically, Seth. And he was shirtless. I quickly closed my eyes and tried to calm down.
"You're just dreaming, Ellie. None of this is real. When you open your eyes, you'll be in your room dreaming about unicorns and ice cream. This is all just a dream and he's not really here." I whispered, letting out a nervous chuckle.
"Why are you talking to yourself?"
I immediately opened my eyes and turned my head slowly, finding myself inches away from Seth's face.
And that's when I screamed.

Something didn't feel right. I looked around my room slowly; cautiously; taking everything in and trying not to feel too nervous. Perhaps Lure was in my room right now, watching me, silently laughing to himself. I didn't doubt it. I slipped off my bed and walked around, hugging my waist, and tilted my head. I felt my rough ponytail slide against the back of my neck and over my shoulder as I moved. "Lure?" I hissed, "Lure, are you there?" I wandered around a little, for some reason feeling scared. But why? It was only Lure. He wouldn't hurt me, would he? "Okay, Lure. Quit it. I know it's you. Who else would it-" I stopped, startled, when I heard a strange sound that made me cringe. It was like fingernails being dragged across a chalkboard. I whipped around and came face-to-face with my mirror. Immediately, I saw the difference. I screamed at the top of my lungs when he slashed the boy's neck with his claw. The boy next to the dead body stood frozen while he visibly squeezed the boy's head into nothing. Jack pushed me at the monster and ran out the door, but he didn't make it far. He caught up with him and bit off his head, blood trickling down his chin. Then the monster turned towards me and threw Jack through the window, loosing interest in the boy in a second. He walked towards my shaking body, leaning his 8 foot body down to mine. The smile that formed on his disgusting face made my stomach do a 360° flip. And the fire that was enveloping him was making my eyes burn. Although I don't know the owner to these gorgeous blue eyes, I feel as if I've met him before. Jonah turned his face, but I didn't look back at him, I kept staring up at the skies. He turned back to the sky and took a breather before answering. "We're always going to be alone, Rose. Always. We'll be haunted by the darkness that is our own shadow, but in every shadow there's a light." He answered, as if the simplest thing in the world. I only stared at him with a dropped jaw. That was out of this world. Especially coming from Jonah. "When does it get better?" I mumbled. "It doesn't. But to go through it with someone makes it a whole lot easier." He turned back to face me. We stared at each other for a while. He'd always occasionally look down at my lips, and I'd do the same to him. I broke it off and looked back up at the sky. -=- New York City. The place of opportunities. But what shall Rose do when there's so many of them? Jonah, the seducer with a British accent, or Cameron, equally British but sweet. Her clock is ticking. She has one year to make up her mind until the exchange program takes back all their Brits and their New Yorkers return. And so the end-of-the-year party is the final strike. Either Rose chooses...or she doesn't. *WARNING* I began this book (my first book ever) when I was like 11 or 12 years old so the first chapters (idk how many) suck, not gonna lie. I had scrapped so many ideas (that I only really wrote a few chapters of) that when I was older enough to realize the story I had going so far sucked, I didn't want to scrap again, so I finished for that sake in a span of 3 years (and ended in 2014). If one of the creators tells me to take down this book, I will. Just know that I don't check notifications here very often. I wrote this story as a joke, but I will warn you that the writing looks more serious. The NOTICE at the beginning explains everything, so I recommend reading it before starting the story. Original Description: Out of YouTube, Tommy is a normal British boy, but one day, one of his best internet friends moves to his area and starts going to the same school as him. Everything's chill at first, but then Tommy starts realizing the small things that his friend does. He notices the small, cute, unimportant details. And all of a sudden, Tommy realizes that he's developed feelings. He doesn't like it one bit, especially since there's one minor difference between the two. I'm going through the book and cleaning everything up right now to just all-around make it more presentable and state the disclaimers in a more organized and thought-out manner, but I found this in the description and I find it funny, so I'm going to keep it. I think it was mostly influenced by being the only matching clothes I had washed. I threw on some makeup and headed out the door. This is Rylie, she's a sarcastic "bad girl". Typical teenager, she's into her screaming music and she's a social little butterfly. Her life is suddenly flipped around when a new neighbor comes to town.
