"I fluttered my eyes open, carefully adjusting them to to the bright light around me. This feeling was familiar, waking up in a strange place and being cold. This time, although the frosty weather was enveloping my body on all sides, there was warmth. It wasn't like the first time I had woken up, alone and scared. This time I felt safe and oddly comfortable.
I decided it was time to fully open my eyes and get up from what seemed to be the ground. When I lifted my body halfway up, I noticed the ethereal boy lying next to me. He looked so calm, and peaceful. I noticed his hand was enclosed with my right one and he still wasn't awake yet. That's when the events from last night flooded my memory, all at once.
"I'm a... you're a..." I paused taking another look at the resting boy beside me, hand still in mine, "we're werewolves." "
