Triplicities
**Book I of the Triplicities Triology** Do you know what Triplicities mean? It's another word for the four basic elements, fire, air, water and earth. Several years ago, a project was started in Oregon, US that involved these four elements. Not long after they came over a type of bacteria that could give humas special powers that was related to the elements. The project was called Triplicites, and the bacteria got injected in four babies from different places in California. Sixteen years later, the babies have grown into teenagers. They live different lives, in different cities. Never have they crossed paths, and they have no idea that they are not ordinary teens. The Noble Academy has a group of people that are born with special abilities besides the other humans. They are called Elementals. These people are at the top of the school. So far, the known abilities are fire, water, earth and air. These people wear red cloaks and mask to protect their identities. What happens when there is a person that has all the abilities and more? Meet Winter Valentine. She knows what she is and she knows it must be kept as a secret. The elders of the Academy keep a close eye on her. Fearing that she can be a dangerous threat as she controls very strong powers. A dangerous power is approaching and not all the Elements can defeat them. I'm the kind of girl who keeps her own secrets. I'm in high school and I still believe fairies....because I believe I am one. I've never had REAL magic but I can control wind spirit, and speak to her. Others believed along with me...but they always end up forgetting, or leaving me because they think it's just a game. I've been by myself since 5th grade. Now the Great Tree said it's time to train four other girls because another girl has taken over the Spirit of Storms.
