When Earth's population reaches 8 billion, chaos erupts. War, starvation, disease, and the need for freedom spread like wildfire across the world. But things change when Planet X is discovered. The planet is entirely black and white, with eight surrounding small planets, called Xue (sk-yu), also capable of holding life. Each planet is mostly black and white except for one color and its shades and hues. With the help of the Xoi (sk-oy), intelligent life forms on Planet X, humans are distributed to the new planets after reaching their high school graduation and passing a test that will tell them the Xue they will reside on for the rest of their lives.
