Wren Kalani Taylor is a young 16 year old girl who was adopted at the age of 7. She works a full-time job at The Colson cafe which is a few minutes from Forks High School. All of her life, she has been beaten and abused by her 'Father', rather than going to someone she hides it all, knowing that he would beat her like never before if she spilled to someone. But that all changes the day she was kidnapped.

Ryder Kai Kingston is a young 17 year old man, who has to take care of his sister's kids. He runs his own 'company'out of his home office on the outskirts of town, growing up without parents was tough on Ryder and his older sister, Cecilia. Cecilia was murdered in cold blood by her baby daddy, and fiance Zachariah Collins. Her kids, Kailyn and Maxwell, both five, are left in Ryder's care. With very little memory of their mother except for when she'd take them to the little cafe down the road and the pretty waitress who would sneak them extra food, they try to help Wren find the good in Ryder. But is it too late? Will Wren find the good in the bad boy before the Cops find the criminal in him?
