An hourglass was once used to show the passage of time, a tiny vile consisting of two glass bulbs connected vertically by a narrow neck which allowed for the trickle of sand from the upper bulb to the lower. An object of delicate beauty it demonstrated to the world what many feared most in life.
Time running out.
While what it represented was feared, none could ever look away as the sprinkle of sand moved silently into the lower bulb, filling as the top emptied. There was something majestically tranquil about how easily the sand slipped through the opening. And while an hourglass is most alluring to us, it still stands by its purpose.
Our time will run out, no matter what we do to try and stop it.

"She belongs with us, we're taking her back." his voice was harsh, a spit of fire to his words and I felt its flame run down my spine.
I didn't reply because while I knew there was logic to his words I couldn't stop the curl of fury like a snake slithering up my body as the claim shot through my head, untamed.

She is mine, she belongs to me.

"Come get her." I invited, the threat evident in my voice and I heard him scoff in return.
"You have asked for what is coming, Fox." he snarled down the phone before hanging up and I felt it in the pit of my stomach.

Our time was up.

Two broken souls in the midst of a crazy world. Two souls running away from their past. There was no light at the end of the tunnel. The tunnel was cracking, slowly closing in. When these two connect, as if they were set on the same path, light creeps in through the cracks, and for or a moment, the tunnel seems to have a way out, but what if it collapses before they make it? - "You saved my life." The words come out as a whisper, I've been dying to say that. I thank god every day that he came into my life when he did. "Fuck Vivian, you don't know how much I needed you." I tear up just a little as he speaks, I don't know the last time I cried happy tears. I bring my hands up to cup his cheeks, resting my forehead against his. "No matter how much I push, I don't mean it. Please don't give up on me." My words seem to relieve him in some way as I feel his shoulders relax. "Even when I'm gone, I'll be by your side, forever." He brings his hand, sticking his pinky out. "pinky promise."I wrap mine around his, placing a kiss on his lips. Warning before you read!! This is my first book! ***book one of the Savage MC series*** Im going to tell you a story. A story about a love that was so preciously beautiful it belonged in a fairy tale. A love that held so much purity in a world of sin it made even the damnedest see hope. A love that held so much raw feeling it could only be real. One created to last through anything. I'm going to tell you the story of a love that was ruined by rumours. A love that was lost in time. * Eight years ago a girl met a boy who changed her world. Eight years ago a boy made the decision that she was his. Eight years ago, a night that started out innocent, tore them apart. * Now she's back and he wants nothing to do with her. * As Millie starts to explain her circumstances, it soon becomes clear that Millie's problems involve Cut a lot more than he could have ever anticipated. * However nothing in life is ever simple. As things start to unravel Millie and Cut must revisit a time that they both, for very different reasons, would much rather pretend never happened. The past always comes calling. **strong language and sexual content**
