Duncan Quagmire is determine to become friends with Renesmee Grace but how can he if all she ever does is run away?
Renesmee was a shy girl. The bullying, "just teasing", made the happy girl simmer down into a quiet girl who kept to herself, hidden behind her hair, shying away from anyone. It worsened after her parents death.
Duncan was a normally happy boy but half of the people at Prufrock Preparatory School were unbearable since they were mindless drones for Carmelita, the worst person on Earth since she got away with anything. One day Duncan's attention is caught by the shy girl and he's drawn to her, wanting to get to know her. One problem, she avoids basically everyone since it's unsure who would be a friend or a bully. But he doesn't stop, maybe Isadora is right to leave her be even though he doesn't want too.
Then one day, luck seemed on his side. Renesmee moved into the broom closet with them. It's almost not big enough but he feels bad for the new orphans. Slowly he gets to know her but it's a struggle. One wrong move and she closes up. All he wants to do is get to befriend her, but how can he when she shuts everyone out?
