Sie scheinen nichts miteinander zu tun zu haben, sind nichtmal alle menschlich. Doch zwei Dinge haben sie gemein: Sie können kämpfen - und sie könnten die nächsten Opfer der Killer sein, die sich unter ihnen befinden...

Facets, Book 1: What Is And What Should Never Be
Ratchet and Clank are back on Fastoon, about a year after the events in the game "Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack In Time", and are studying the ruins and looking into lombax culture. They soon discover a research laboratory, containing an ancient portal which sends them careening into an alternate parallel dimension - a place where the normal conventions of behavior, morality, etc. are flipped on their heads, and history has played out somewhat differently. Here they encounter characters who are the opposites of what they are in their own universe, and must deal with each as a result. It will be the beginning of an emotional roller coaster ride for the two heroes! This is the first of what will be a multi-story arc, as Ratchet and Clank stumble through several dimensions while trying to find their way home! PLEASE NOTE: This story has some violence in it, but no gore. There is also a tiny amount of body horror as well as a little cursing. But I hope you'll stay with the story through to the end...I expect you'll be glad you did! "Shit!" I muttered under my breath. He pulled open the door and headed for me with a smile that made my skin crawl. I withdrew my gun from my bag and hid it under the table. "Ah Blake Reid. At last we meet!" He pulled out the chair directly across from me. "Who are you and why have you been following me?" I growled. "I'm the man who is going to kill you," he gave me a masochistic smile. I withdrew my gun from its place under the table. It was pointed between his eyes and I took pleasure in the shock that was on his face. He had only gotten his gun halfway out. The staff was still unaware of me holding a gun to this man's head because they were all around back in the kitchen. "Sorry, but that's just not going to happen," I said sweetly. "In such a public place? How brazen of you," he challenged in a shaky voice. "Yes, all the staff is in the back where they can't see us. Oh and if you didn't notice, there's a silencer on my gun. Say good-bye my dearie," I pulled the trigger and sent the bullet through his head. Blake Reid isn't your normal 17 year old. She's an assassin on her last case... or so she hopes. She is having difficulty with memories of her past and can't seem to get out of her shell, even though that is one of the biggest assets needed for her assignment. The soft light of the morning from the windows betrayed the air of discomfort. The comments of the live stream pour like heavy rain. 'GET OUT!' 'RUN!' 'Is this true, like no ARG shit? Somebody call the cops!' The figure behind the canvas paused from dabbing the brush delicately on the image. Killer just know that his host was sporting a sweet smile as he said: "As long as it takes." ---...--- WARNING: This story will have dark tones and not at all, a completely healthy depiction of romance. The only small, minute, really unimportant detail - it's pretty hard to get into a government classified site when you're 15 years old and have a rag-tag team of double-crossing back-stabbers behind you.
