Despite being human again, Dean is far from cured. Depressed, guilty and unpredictable, Dean fears that he has ruined his family with this curse placed upon him, that he will never get better, that he will always bear the mark. But maybe, just maybe, the love of one particular angel is all he ever really needed. And maybe, just maybe, in their fight against the clock to rid Dean of the mark, the Winchesters will be able to rebuild what they lost.
An alternate version of season 10 - forward, "To Build A Home" tells the tale of how loyalty, trust, perseverance, hope, and ultimately, love, will overcome any obstacles thrown in its path.

I love the idea of Destiel, that a human and an angel can move beyond the physical boundaries of the human body, and find something deeper in each other, during a time when they are both ships tossing in a chaotic sea of emotions, and at a time when their lives are absolutely falling apart. They cling to one another, each becoming the other's safe harbor. It's transcends sex, moves beyond the fact that they are both in male form. It is love in its purest form, and it is on a deep and spiritual level. The idea that someone as broken as Dean Winchester can find someone that can see past the darkest parts of himself to the light within and still love him I think is the most beautiful thing on earth. You were adopted by Bobby Singer when you were seven years old because your parents were killed by demons and you were an only child. You've lived with him ever since and you loved it. He taught you how to shoot a gun and how to fight and also how to hunt. He never let you go on hunts, until you met Sam and Dean Winchester.
