I'm a big bughead shipper but this past season has been rough on them and I feel like there is a deeper connection to Betty and Archie than we realize. I like that they have history and are best friends and after episode 2x08 I have hope they will end up together at some point. This is just something I thought I would try out first fan fic so bear with me! Thanks for reading and tell me what you think in the comments!

"What is going on with you?" she practically yelled. I looked at her and shrugged. "Seriously, Juggie. You're so damn confusing. One minute you act like you hate me the next you are defending me and acting like you love me. You make no sense" she ranted. She glared at me and I chuckled. "I love it when you call me Juggie. It's hot" I said and she continued to glare at me in silence. "I didn't know what I wanted before. I do now" I said casually. "Really? And what is that?" She fumed. "You, baby." I smirked. Betty moved away years ago when her parents divorced. Her mother wanted a fresh start in New York. Everyone promised to keep in touch but, of course, they didn't. Only her cousin. As the years wore on, he became darker and cruel. He joined his Dad in the Serpents and truly loved the gang lifestyle. Archie felt hollow since Betty left. He distracted himself with football and girls and had earned himself quite a reputation. Betty and Veronica became best friends while they're mothers dated. They both embraced the New York party lifestyle. Betty changed from a sweet, quiet girl to a bit of a wild child but kept her heart of gold. That is, until Betty and Veronica move to Riverdale with their mothers. Jughead and Archie are shocked to see Betty again. One of them view her as a challenge, the other as prey. Betty has other ideas though. Language warning and maybe some violence and dark material.
