Just My Luck

Lorelei has never had the best of luck. Every time she begins to find normalcy and happiness in her life, things begin to go wrong. It starts small with misplaced belongings and her watch constantly running late. But small things build, and her mishaps always turn into nightmares; a burglary gone wrong, an accidental spark that sets a home ablaze, an illness no one found until it was too late. And each time, Lorelei has managed to pick herself up, leave and move forward in the hopes of starting over. If she's learned anything, it's to accept life's curveballs even if she's been thrown one too many. But lately, it seems as though these events have been happening more frequently, like something is trying to catch up with her --and maybe it is. Lorelei has recently settled down in Boston. Another 'fresh' start. But it's not long before an encounter with her invisible pursuers lead her down a path with all the answers she never really wanted.
