Then again, she hardly fits in with her own family, being the only Schnee with hazel eyes rather than blue. Will she be able to figure out where she belongs in this world? Or does she have a different destiny altogether?

An alternate take on Weiss Schnee's adventure, continuing immediately after the first episode of Volume 5, running somewhat parallel to the overall arc of the actual series. In this rendition of her world, she cannot stand to abandon another mayday from civilians under attack by the Grimm and she goes off to try and save them on her own. Unfortunately, she doesn't have the strength to win. To make things worse, the knightly armor she has the power to summon fails to come to her aid, and just as she is about to fall to the Grimm surrounding her, something sweeps her off to safety, something far too reminiscent of a glistening suit of knightly armor. Except that this suit of armor has a face. And that face has a name. Author's Note: William Hillphire, a character you will meet in chapter 13, actually belongs to a friend of mine. I wrote his character into this book in collaboration with him. His characterization is almost entirely his own. I was inspired by Darthjedi0's story that I decide to do it as well. This is a male Ruby reader story, one that is different than most. I am to make it to where it gives (Y/N) Rose was more compelling character and some more character motivation than anyone else. Making a cool twist of the RWBY canon that make sense to this character. Here Y/N Rose became a Huntsmen to bring his mother back home, and that is it. His motivation is to just bring his mother home. Along the way he will meet a bunch of people that will try to stop him and he won't allow it.
