While ghost hunting on Halloween night, five teenagers discover a disease inflicted body in the attic of an abandoned house. All five of them now carry the virus, and the weakest of them gets sick. After that, the disease spreads like wildfire, and a massive quarantine is put in place. With the teens stuck in the hospital until it lets up, they work as hard as they can to find a cure, even though no one thinks they can. Will they prove everyone wrong, and save North America with a cure, or will they die trying?
