Welcome to The Gates, a home for orphaned and abandoned boys. Leading you on a rather unconventional tour --a tour that includes photographs, poetry, and revealing bits and pieces of trash that he has collected (and, yeah, sometimes stolen), is our narrator, Mouse. But be warned: Mouse has a bit of an attitude. His words, directed at you, dear reader, can be gruff and, at times, downright rude. But if you're listening carefully and connecting the dots, you'll understand and you'll see the vulnerability that's there, as well. And with Mouse's words, and with each photo, poem, and scrap of paper, you'll piece together an understanding of life at The Gates.
