Daniel and Dodie Howell are two siblings who needed a break from the big city of New York and decided to move to a small town in Virginia. Daniel wants to be a writer and Dodie wants to pursue a career in music. Dodie and Daniel have been inseparable best friends since the day Dodie was born and Daniel held her for the first time when he was four.
Phil Lester and Thomas Sanders have best friends since they were little and now they are all grown up and own a little bookstore in town that is also a cafe that they named "the cat cafe".
What happens when the four adults meet?
Will the two duo's become a group of four?
Will there be a romance or a hatred?
