The wind blew as the people in the street screamed. I turned in a full circle looking for the cause of the panic. That's when I saw it, the darkness, crawling it way up the street consuming everything in its path. It was moving fast, making its way up to the palace. If only, I could get to my father in time to warn them; then maybe, just maybe, I can save my people. The screams I heard ignited my soul. I pulled at the power that came from within and threw it at the darkness. My power began to spread over the kingdoms. I pushed my power further, making the darkness return to the Dark Trail. My body began to fall, as my power began to cover the trail like a glove making sure all the darkness was captured. I heard my name being said from millions of lips. The people, my people began to wail my name. I was the cause of the darkness, and yet my people still said my name as if I would deliver them from this curse. My power began to solidify the glove of power. The darkness began to scream, it wailed to be free. In the end, the darkness joined the chorus of my people. "You brought this upon everyone. You're the monster people see under their bed. You could stop this by letting the darkness run free. It is the only way to bring anew." I heard the voice in my head say. "No!" I screamed, fighting the darkness that pushed at the shield of my mind. I began to take my power and burned everything inside the Dark Trail. I felt my skin burn as my power burned the darkness. My vision blurred and the last thing I saw was the darkness vanished and a smile creeped onto my face. My last thought was as long as I am asleep, the cover to the Dark Trial will hold. And then my eyes closed and I welcomed the darkness. All Rights are Reserved! All Photos are Reserved. They are not mine, and they do belong to the Rightful Owner.

Her death was just the beginning. ___ "What are you doing to us!" I cried. I felt the painful sensation deep in my skin as if I was burning from inside out. Like the sun became my greatest enemy and trying to burn me alive. I fell to my knees and I looked over at him with fear in my eyes. He told me to never show how terrified I was, but I couldn't help it. His eyes the color of night assured me that's it was going to be okay. But it wasn't. "Taking away your ability to walk in the sunlight. You are going to be like the rest of those bloodsuckers." she exclaimed. The pain was getting even stronger by the minute and I screamed at the top of my lungs. I looked down at my skin and I realized that it was scorched. But I managed to speak, despite my mind telling me to focus on the pain. "Why?" I whispered. The woman knelt down beside me and whispered something in my ear that chilled me to my bones. My eyes were slits with her this close to me. I wanted to kill her. "What do you think, Elora? This is war." ___ COMPLETED All rights to the owners.
