She stands in front of the tall mirror, examining her appearance. An appearance she had begun to believe defined her. Labelled her as who she was. Yet it did no such thing. The reflection displayed in the glass before her, stood simple, stood confident. Yet so much was still hidden deep inside. Fear, confusion, sadness, it was all hidden behind the walls that HE made her build. Her long curly brown hair flew to nearly her waist, the way HE liked it. Long locks cascading down her leather jacket that HE made her wear. Big hazel eyes, tinted with green, hidden behind long convincing eyelashes that only HE was aloud to look into... So much emotion can be revealed in a person eyes. One look could show everything you might want it to show. But Alex's emotions were completely undetectable in hers. For she was blinded by only one emotion. That forbid anyone from seeing anything else. Love. The love for HIM. It was all you could see, it was all anyone could ever see. And it was blinding her from reality. It was a dangerous affection, where she was forever truthful, yet HE struggled to hold up his end. Alex was blinded by the love for a FAKE that didn't treat her right. But she was too lost to see it. Pushing away her friends, her family, she closed off everything. Hid away from everyone. HE told her it was the right thing to do, HE convinced her that she was perfect that way. That they were perfect. She couldn't see anything but HIM, and so she believed him. But someone was always there, always watching. They knew the truth, but she wouldn't listen, she was too in love to see the wrong in HIM. So they stood on the side lines. So far away, yet so close. They offered help whilst Alex fell apart bit by bit, completely unknowingly. There's only so much someone can do to save Alex from HIM. But is there really anything someone can do, to save Alex from HERSELF?
