Petrified that no one will be interested in her story, Avery Winston lives her life under constant scrutiny. It doesn't help that she's constantly aware of her every move. If it's not possible to ensure a benefit, it is out of the question. After all, doesn't everyone hate fillers?

But she's tired of it all. She's tired of the constricted way she's taught herself to live, she's sick of planning each and every move, she's done with agonising over whether it was worth it or not to butter her toast. She wonders if anyone is listening.

And that's why she does it. Avery begins her battle to break free from the prison she's built for herself and find an anchor to reality. She hopes with all her being that she won't lose herself along the way.

Okay. This is just something I've carried around for WAY too long. Today I thought - "why not just start?". And here we are.

Updates will be sporadic. I'm getting that out of the way right now. But I think that this'll be a lot of fun. I'm kinda excited. Feel free to join me for the ride.

With A Cherry On Top by Kayd2005

Charvi Brooks, hiding under a wig and glasses as Avery Adams to work and get money for college, is found out by quarterback, Zane Rivers and gets sucked into his world as he protects her from her stalker, Jaxon who also found out this secret. I begged with a pout and faux doe eyes. "Pretty please." He flashed me his prettiest smile and teased, "With a cherry on top." Charvi Brooks is a simple girl from a complex family. All she ever cared about was having enough money to go to college. Living a double life, what could go wrong? Except from a certain someone finding out her secret. Zane Rivers, quarterback and team captain, most popular guy in school and Charvi only knows him as Zed. But in her defence, he calls her Cherry due to the mop of red hair on Avery's head. He was the worst person she thought could find out about her secret, but she realized how wrong she was when Jaxon, a young man infatuated with her second self, found her out too. She thought having to live a double life was bad, but having a stalker who would stop at nothing to get her was worse. And speaking of complex family, things worsen when her father moves back to town with his new picture-perfect family in tow. Imagine her, her mom, her three siblings, her father, his new wife and her stepbrother and stepsister under one roof. Talk about a large family. And who she had by her side through it all is someone she would have never expected. Could she help the feelings? When these two clash, what could possibly come out of it? **** This is an edited version of my book, "My Forever". The story line remains the same, but some of the plot has been cut out and some things added. You can still read the original book if you want because I am not taking it down, but I strongly recommend this. Finished: 14 July 2023.

°•♧The quiet before the storm♧•° by @lorvy_nn. tt:marcel_xzs. "She was the most precious thing my eyes had ever witness, she was like a butterfly gentle and delicate and i was gonna do everything to protect her". ꒷꒦︶꒷꒦︶ ๋ ࣭ ⭑꒷꒦꒷꒦︶꒷꒦︶ ๋ ࣭ ⭑꒷꒦ Avery Hart is an 18-year-old college freshman with big dreams of becoming a lawyer. Sweet, kind-hearted, and determined, she always sees the best in people, which makes her lovable but also vulnerable. Avery enjoys volleyball, surfing, and reading, using surfing as an emotional escape. She's in a relationship with Diego Martinez, captain of the rugby team who has a perfect, sweet and open relationship. in her apartment, Avery navigates college life, betrayal, and new friendships while unexpectedly crossing paths with Adrian Ryde, a charming yet mysterious figure. Her journey is one of growth, self-discovery, and balancing her aspirations with the complexities of love and trust. Here's a revised description of Adrian, focusing on his cold demeanor towards others and how he feels differently about Avery: Adrian Ryde is the kind of guy people notice, but no one truly knows. He's charming when he wants to be, with an easy smile and an air of confidence that makes him the center of attention in almost any room. But while others might see him as a socialite or someone who just fits in effortlessly, those who get closer quickly realize that Adrian keeps everyone at arm's length. He's cold, distant, and always seems to be holding something back. Adrian doesn't care to form close connections with people, and his emotional walls are as solid as they come. He's the kind of guy who stays calm, collected, and rarely lets anyone see beneath the surface. He's fine with people admiring him from a distance, but he doesn't let anyone get too close. That is, until he meets Avery. There's something about her that gets under Adrian's skin in ways he can't explain.
