They say that promises make you believe and make you have hope in something that can be quite impossible. They also say that time is our biggest enemy and it should be treated like the valuable thing that it is. It shouldn't be wasted, especially on waiting on something that will never come. And that's when they ask me why am I wasting my time believing on a promise that's already broken. And I tell them that I'm devoted to that promise, because it's the only thing that keeps me going, even if it's destroying me.
