It has been nearly a decade since the old Cross Academy closed, and Yuki and Kaname left; but now the school is being re-opened by Kaiden Cross, the younger brother of the acedemy's founder. He has spent many years rebuilding the school and, with the support and sponsorship of Seth Kyro (the rising heir of the pureblood family, Kyro), the academy's popularity is booming. However, this story goes far beyond New Cross Academy.
Much like his brother, Kaiden Cross took in a young girl who's parents met an early end. Kaiden has raised Kira Seyto (Cross) as his daughter, never telling her who or what her parents really were. Despite his efforts, though, the new headmaster is seeing that the girl is beginning to tread down the same path that her parents, his brother, and he himself chose to take. The only thing he can do now is wonder if starting the new school will be a blessing or a curse for Kira.
