After their wedding, war raged between Ares and Zeus. Unfortunately, Ares was victorious. Now stripped of his power and in confinement, the God of Lightning could no longer maintain the balance of war in this world... First the Mayan Gods fell to Ares and now he is turning his army towards China.

Now, 2 years on Ares's army has attacked and China is in peril. The Jade Emperor, Chang'es father, is dead... slain by Ares. The majority of the Chinese Gods have been captured by Ares and his accomplices, including Hou Yi. Chang'es now furious and decides to aid the remaining Gods. Lending her skill in an attempt to repel the attack and lay waste to Ares and his army...
