Don't Forget (Old Version)

I didn't remember anything when I was captured. I was taken and forced into slavery. Slavery that started at the end of a war, the fall of a kingdom. The royal family butchered. The kindest thing that I can remember was when my fellow slave named me after my eyes.

But who am I? Who was I before losing my memory and becoming a slave? And if I dare to stand against the new empire, what will be the consequences? And what happens when I go insane? When I'm forced to kill under the influence of insanity? My memories keep changing. What if I decide that being the bad guy is more fun?

Or will I find my way back to the life I once had? Back to the people I once knew.

But I'm not who they need me to be. The overwhelming guilt that I feel is thankfully locked away, but it can't be that way forever. So will I try to be a hero? Try to be the person that they all need? And maybe, just maybe, save them all.
