Genie, a 19 year old blogger, turns on her TV one day to find the Doctor and Martha trapped there. What? But it's just a TV show! Or so she thought. Or so we all thought... She rotates the TV pixels as the Doctor tells her and rescues them. Begging the Doctor to let her come with him, arguing that she did save them, Genie finds the Doctor taking a liking to her. She knows a lot about the dangers of the universe and science. And how wouldn't she? She's been a Whovian forever. The pressure to save her country of America-and the whole world-is overwhelming. But her life is now every Whovian's fantasy.

Summary: When the Doctor - in a new, unexpected incarnation - wakes to an idyllic life, everything is as it should be... almost. The sky never changes. The clock never moves. And neighbours' faces flicker with strangers' eyes. Drawn into a world that shifts like a TV set changing channels, the Doctor uncovers a sinister force behind the curtain: a mind-trap, curated by an unseen Host. Old friends, lost companions, and echoes of every Doctor live here in disguise - some allies, some enemies, all with secrets to keep. To escape, the Doctor must confront the shadows in their own memory... and decide whether the price of freedom is worth tearing down the illusion."
